Assists the Phone Desk Attendant in answering phones when needed.
Collects money from players and purchases chips from cashier.
Delivers chips to players in a timely manner.
Ensures guest satisfaction by providing friendly, efficient service.
Notifies Shift Manager if there is a customer problem.
Assists in keeping Poker Room area clean and neat.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Ability to handle chips.
Ability to work towards a common goal as a member of a unified team.
Maintain a proper mental attitude to work under pressure and deal effectively with customers.
Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Mobility and prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling.
Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, and illumination and air quality.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
