JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Coordinates class scheduling and attendance.
  • Administers the scheduling and attendance of compliance classes (problem gambling and alcohol awareness).
  • Schedule and post management development classes by communicating with internal instructors and contracted facilitators.
  • Send electronic class reminders on a weekly basis to facilitators and participants.
  • Monitor management development classes by running quarterly attendance reports and responding appropriately.
  • Gather course evaluations (Level 1 and Level 2) and produce consolidated reports for each management class on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinates all New Hire Orientation administration.
  • Facilitates New Hire Orientation on a weekly basis (or more based on demand).
  • Updates program as needed.
  • Administers new hire surveys.
  • Utilizes the TalentWorks system.
  • Enters training acknowledgment forms as needed.
  • Creates classes, inputs class attendance, closes classes, generates reports as needed.
  • Supports in the administration of upward mobility programs.
  • Facilitates Problem Gambling.
  • Assists Training Managers in the administration of programs as needed.
  • Supports Human Resources as needed at employee events and divisional initiatives.
  • Completes additional projects with the approval of the Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • At least 6 months experience in training and/or developing educational materials.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written form.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with facilitation.
  • Previous experience working in a luxury or similar resort.
