JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Develop and maintain strong partnership with respective business partners and their senior leadership.
  • Fulfill all functions as a member of Senior IT Leadership Team.
  • Manage relationship and accountability of matrixed IT functions, service providers, third parties, etc., to ensure successful delivery to respective business function.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of MGMRI Business Function as well as practical business knowledge of IT.
  • Apply program/project management skills and techniques.
  • Proactively identify and develop any new skills and capabilities needed to support respective business function.
  • Provide technology and business oversight for build-out/deployment of new capabilities, enhancements, updates, etc.
  • Develop and maintain an annual master strategic and tactical joint work plan/play book to ensure the needs of the business function are met.
  • Analyze technical capabilities and new market product offerings to determine fit for the business.
  • Construct proofs-of-concepts and pilots jointly with business partner to ensure fit and appropriateness prior to corporate commitment.
  • Advocate respective business function’s priorities to overall IT spend investment plan/budget.
  • Contribute in the creative development of solutions to support respective business function’s needs.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends, market conditions and demographic data as they pertain to the development of new capabilities and offerings to lift respective business function’s competitive stance.
  • Along with SVP and CIO, build and maintain professional relationships internal/external to company to stay delivery-centered and current in business/technology acumen.
  • Reinforce department goals and vision and continually implement this strategy and respective business function’s advocacy into overall communications.
  • Understand and abide by the Company’s business practices, policies and philosophies.
  • Maintain brand standards of each property and its respective internal departments.  
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • At least 5 years specialized expertise in core Hospitality/Gaming business functions such as Marketing, Finance, Retail, Casino, Hotel, Food and Beverage, Corporate, etc.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, outgoing, and personable with the ability to interface with senior management.
  • Exhibit “Can do” positive “Get it done” attitude and commitment to getting it done right for respective business function.
  • Exhibit customer and partner centricity.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of business and technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills.                     
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.                 
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, and/or MIS.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
