JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Greets guests in a timely manner and requests primary beverage order.  Initiates conversation with guests, inquiring about their satisfaction with the restaurant.
  • Expedites drink orders for each party quickly and accurately.  Serves refills upon request as well as follow up for additional beverage requirements.
  • Keeps tables neat and orderly by removing dishware no longer in use.  Assists in bussing of tables, and resetting table for next seating.  Transports dishes to kitchen for washing and disposes of trash in designated receptacles.
  • Adheres to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state; request identification from guest ordering alcohol when legal age is questionable.
  • Anticipates guest needs, when possible, and provide extra items, drinks, and condiments to the table.
  • Communicates with servers and managers regarding guest requests.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • Able to fully participate in and successfully complete the training program.
  • Pass all auditions, tests (oral and written), and interviews administered.
  • Pass all demonstrative skills tests.
  • Ability to demonstrate the requisite knowledge and language skills to discuss in detail any question regarding the functions and positions in the Specialty Dining Room Lounges.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Education level usually associated with the attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 
 Preferred: 
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
