  • Performs a variety of routine and non-routine clerical duties for Human Resources.
  • Types documents to include correspondence, forms, reports, etc. in rough and final form ensuring accuracy of work from the standpoint of grammar, composition, form and content.
  • Performs basic clerical duties, answers telephones, reads, sorts and distributes mail, schedules appointments, makes photocopies, sends faxes, sends and responds to emails, and establishes and maintains files.
  • Ensures full phone coverage for Human Resources department. Answers the telephone and greets guests with the utmost courtesy and exceptional guest service.
  • Greets and screens visitors in person or on the phone, ascertains nature of their business and directs them accordingly.
  • Tracks and submits all payroll deductions.
  • Collects and organizes all FMLA and Medical Leave requests and emails departments for Personal LOA approvals.
  • Works under the guidance of the HR Generalist who assigns additional duties when necessary to assist others within the department.
  • Maintains confidentiality with matters related to Human Resources, including but not limited to: people who call and/or visit; printed and electronic correspondence; etc
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor to meet Vdara standards and enjoys working in a “teamwork” environment. Performs other relevant job duties as assigned. Performs other relevant job duties as assigned.

  • At least 6 months of administrative experience and/or Human Resources equivalent experience.
  • Experience with multi-line telephones, with copying and faxing capabilities.
  • Able to multi-task and remain organized.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette, as well as a professional appearance and presentation.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Able to speak, write, and translate Spanish for all HR related issues in both written and verbal form.
