JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Develop a comprehensive communications strategy and calendar for Corporate Human Resources which is consistent with and supports the Company’s strategic vision for employee engagement.
  • Create, design and distribute timely and professional communications (e-mail blasts, newsletter, memorandums, posters, etc.) for all audiences within corporate entities for events, services, programs, and initiatives.
  • Develop and sustain strong, cooperative and collaborative relationships with Corporate Communications Team.  Ensure coordination of human resources communications with Corporate Communications Team.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of employee events and initiatives.
  • Assist with and support creation and development of new employee programs designed to increase morale, engagement and commitment.
  • Assist with preparation of budgets, proposals and timelines for employee events, communications and employee services.
  • Edit and distribute existing communications, policies and procedures, employee handbook and other documents as required.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Corporate Entities internal website.  Execute redesign when necessary.
  • Create impactful presentations and or training materials for Corp HR and Labor Relations leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other job duties and/or special projects as requested by department management.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • At least 6 months experience in event planning
  • At least 6 months experience with writing memorandums, articles, e-mail blasts or other forms of media designed for general employee populations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Outlook and Mac applications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Writing, and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
