Assistant Floral Manager
21 and over
Manage and supervise day to day operations.
Monitor and compile data for financial statements.
Vendor relations and contracts.
Maintain a professional and collaborative demeanor.
Purchasing and ordering of product for department.
Prepare Proposals and contracts for event(s).
Other job related duties as requested.
At least 2 years of prior experience in a high volume Floral environment.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple work assignments and meet deadlines, excellent reading and writing skills, strong organizational skills, with special attention to detail, to effectively complete tasks in a timely efficient manner.
Flexible with personal schedule in order to accommodate last minute changes.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to lead and mentor a team.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
At least 2 years customer service related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel required, and Daylight software.
Previous supervisory experience.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
