JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Warmly greets all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services.
  • Opens doors for guests and removes luggage from vehicles as necessary.
  • Accommodates guests requiring special assistance and aid.
  • Inspects vehicles for overall condition and notes any dents, missing parts, or distinguishing features.
  • Identifies vehicle designated parking locations and provides guests with a vehicle claim check.
  • Reports issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance.
  • Assists in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion.
  • Answers guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions. Also provides information about the city of Las Vegas when possible.
  • Resolves guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refers to the supervisor on duty.
  • Reports all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation.
  • Assists bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary.
  • Responds to emergency situations when requested.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a guest service position.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
