JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Contact prospective clients via phone, email, letter etc. to identify and procure business opportunities in order to maximize volume, revenue and profit. 
  • Negotiate business terms of contracts.
  • Research rates and space availability, develop proposals, follow-through with clients.
  • Regularly perform site tours for prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers.
  • Lead distribution.
  • Assist with entertainment ticket sales.
  • Perform projects such as market research, attrition disputes, event planning, standardizing policies & procedures, purchasing, lead distribution, entertainment ticket sales.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned. 
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • At least 1 year previous experience in a hotel, front line customer service position (i.e. Guest Services).
  • At least 1 year hotel sales experience preferred, strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Stratus and Daylight.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
