Contact prospective clients via phone, email, letter etc. to identify and procure business opportunities in order to maximize volume, revenue and profit.
Negotiate business terms of contracts.
Research rates and space availability, develop proposals, follow-through with clients.
Regularly perform site tours for prospective clients.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers.
Assist with entertainment ticket sales.
Perform projects such as market research, attrition disputes, event planning, standardizing policies & procedures, purchasing, lead distribution, entertainment ticket sales.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
At least 1 year previous experience in a hotel, front line customer service position (i.e. Guest Services).
At least 1 year hotel sales experience preferred, strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Knowledge of Stratus and Daylight.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
