Greets guests in a timely manner and requests primary beverage order. Initiates conversation with guests, inquiring about their satisfaction with the restaurant.
Expedites drink orders for each party quickly and accurately. Serves refills upon request as well as follow up for additional beverage requirements.Interact with and entertain guests, as well as dancing on bar tops and on podiums to ensure a memorable experience for guests.
Keeps tables neat and orderly by removing dishware no longer in use. Assists in bussing of tables, and resetting table for next seating. Transports dishes to kitchen for washing and disposes of trash in designated receptacles.
Adheres to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state; request identification from guest ordering alcohol when legal age is questionable.
Anticipates guest needs, when possible, and provide extra items, drinks, and condiments to the table.
Communicates with servers and managers regarding guest requests.
Performs other duties as required.
At least 1 year of previous Food and Beverage experience in a fast-pace environment with cocktail serving experience in a nightclub preferred. Dance experience in a nightclub or similar entertainment environment.
Manage multiple tasks and remain calm in very high paced and stressful environment and work under pressure.
Basic math skills, ability to handle cash and accurately make change.
Able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Have physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items work indoors, being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, wet floors and withstand environmental factors include noise, dust, cigarette smoke etc.
Ability to dance at a level sufficient to learn and perform professionally choreographed dance routines at several intervals during each work shift.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Experience in large and heavy tray handling.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
