<ul> <li> Actively solicit and book business following Hotel standards.</li> <li> Ensure that all definite functions are detailed accurately on contracts, signed by clients and distributed to designated departments on a timely basis.</li> <li> Inspect table set-ups; check for cleanliness, neatness and agreement with group requirements and departmental standards; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.</li> <li> Greet guests upon arrival at function and assist in seating as required by group in accordance with departmental standards.</li> <li> Works as a liaison between the client, restaurant and F&amp;B Management by communicating the group&rsquo;s needs to all departments.</li> <li> Service clients of short-term bookings from Group Sales.</li> <li> Obtain client requirements to execute catering contract.</li> <li> Obtain necessary deposits, payments and signatures on all contracts, policies and event orders.</li> <li> Effectively book all private dining facilities.</li> <li> Order outside services for events.</li> <li> Respond to new business inquiries.</li> <li> Available to be present at various functions ensure all special events offered are up to prescribed standards.</li> <li> Perform other duties as requested by the Vice President Food &amp;Beverage, Director Food &amp; Beverage, Director Restaurants and Executive Chef Food &amp; Beverage.</li> <li> Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.</li> <li> Anticipate guests&rsquo; needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.</li> <li> Check on all ongoing events, staffing, reviewing changes and last-minute updates.</li> <li> Maintain positive guest relations at all times.</li> <li> Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.</li> <li> Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.</li> <li> Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.</li> <li> Review special event checks with restaurant from previous day&#39;s functions; ensure accuracy of charges and presence of guest signature.</li> <li> Establish and monitor the file and trace system.</li> <li> Ensure client files are kept organized and current with all required information.</li> <li> Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions, escorting clients through the property and highlight features of facility as well as available services.</li> <li> Suggestively sell menus which meet the client&#39;s needs and maximize revenues</li> <li> Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.</li> </ul>

<p> <strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li> At least 3 years of experience in special events sales.</li> <li> At least&nbsp;4&nbsp;or more&nbsp;years of experience in Food and Beverage operations.</li> <li> At least&nbsp;3 years of banquet set-up experience and banquet equipment requirements.</li> <li> Excellent organizational skills, to be able to function under time constraints, and deadlines with attention to detail.</li> <li> Knowledge of menu development.</li> <li> Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.</li> <li> Familiarity with sales and marketing tools.</li> <li> Effective listening abilities and be able to make strong judgment calls.</li> <li> Familiarity with all health and safety regulations.</li> <li> Excellent customer service skills.</li> <li> Able to lead and mentor a team.</li> <li> Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.</li> <li> Professional appearance and demeanor.</li> <li> Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.</li> <li> Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li> <li> High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li> Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Associates or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field.</li> <li> Working knowledge of several POS systems and operations.</li> <li> Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.</li> </ul>
