  • Assists the Food Servers and Bus Persons by cleaning and resetting tables. 
  • Assists guests with high chairs and boosters; ensure they are clean and wiped before returning them to the storage areas.  
  • Performs all side work duties assigned and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant within the health code standards. 
  • Stocks towels in work area with proper concentration of sanitizing solution. 
  • Keeps silverware polished and portable areas stocked; polishes steak knives and crab shell crackers and distributes into portables for dinner shift. 
  • Ensures separation of china, glasses and silver into correct bus tubs and to place each tub in its respective area upon entering dishwashing area. 
  • Ensures bus tubs are kept level and not filled to overflowing with glassware and dishware. 
  • Sets up bus carts for the removal of dishware from the dining area. 
  • Ensures all machines are cleaned properly according to instruction and filled with product and alert supervisor of any equipment that is not working properly.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned. 



  • At least 1 year of experience in a casual dining establishment.
  • Have culinary knowledge and be able to professionally communicate all dishes and components to guests. Must be able to maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation and sourcing.
  • Be familiar with expediting procedures and proper plate presentations.
  • Be able to serve guests in a warm, accommodating, professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in very high paced and stressful environment and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work outdoors in seasonal heat or cold as well as inclement weather.
  • Have previous experience in a high volume food and beverage environment.
  • One 1 year of large tray handling experience is preferred.

  • Physical ability to access all areas of the restaurant, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 60 lbs. without restriction.
  • Work in close quarters or small rooms and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid condition. Work environmental factors include noise, dust, and smoke.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Health Card.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to MGM Resorts International standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.


  •  Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
