  • Actively greeting guests within 30 seconds in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome.
  • Exhibiting proper knowledge, confidence and pride about the job.
  • Establishing eye contact with the guest as he/she approaches the counter.
  • Greeting our guest with an upright posture, pleasant expression and a sense of warmth and sincerity.
  • Conveying a friendly and approachable attitude at all times.
  • Exhibiting proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all items in the menu.
  • Making guests feel that we are selling exquisite jewelries rather than pastries.
  • Packaging cookies, candies, specialties, chocolates, confectionery in a professional manner to allure guests of purchasing it.
  • Informing guests that we have interactive food sections presenting an array of tempting delights where they may indulge their cravings.
  • Acknowledging waist-minded guests to maintain their resolve by suggesting varieties of sugar-free desserts.
  • Effectively communicating with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
  • Acquiring all the ingredients of menu items to be certain for guests who may have allergies.
  • Making the guest realized that you are a gourmet (somebody who has developed a refined taste for food) vendor in the store.
  • Enlightening the guests of our exclusive products we carry, giving the right description.  
  • Exhibiting proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all retail items.
  • Informing guest that we have extended services keeping the quality of the products in regards to shipping.
  • Being able to offer services and arranging needs for corporation.
  • Exhibiting knowledge of retail pastry for wedding and special occasions.
  • Creating relationships towards the guests as they will come back for their future needs.
  • Taking and inputting orders into micros, receiving payment and make proper change, completing required transactions, and categorizing tendered receipts by media type.
  • Itemizing bills correctly and efficiently securing payment.
  • Communicating well in professional manner with the co-workers about food orders.
  • Preparing and serving food and beverage items to guest as necessary.
  • Packing the orders as per guests’ preference and completing the order with any necessary condiments.
  • Anticipating the guests’ needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency before leaving the counter.
  • Bidding farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return.
  • Performing all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
  • Refilling viennoiserie, pastries, gelatos, ice coolers, reach in beverage coolers; reach in pantry coolers and condiment drawer.
  • Being aware of expiration dates of cookies and other confectionery.
  • Stocking the front line with supplies necessary for service.
  • Transporting stock from remote storage location.
  • Clearing tables and counters, sweeping and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and the appearance of the front, dining area, back area and all storage areas.
  • Ensuring all products are rotated on a first-in, first out philosophy.
  • Getting pastries and finished products from the production area.
  • Using and cleaning equipment as juicer, coffee maker, toaster, panini machine, blenders, soda machine, ovens and steamers.
  • Properly labeling retail items.
  • Assisting with inventory of all products.
  • Providing neatness and cleanliness to selling  areas, maintaining visual displays and following merchandise standard.
  • Maintaining stock volume by restocking the sales floor, receiving, unpacking and putting away deliveries.
  • Ensuring all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and stock of their assigned areas, side stations, tables and POS stations.
  • Maintaining a level of professionalism that will make guests want to return.
  • Following the Department standard in opening and closing the restaurant.
  • Following the Department policy on cash handling.
  • Unloading warehouse orders and stocking the orders to designated storage.
  • Working as a team, assisting all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries.

  • At least 2 years experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant environment.
  • Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to use standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators/coolers, slicers, beverage machines.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Previous experience working in a luxury or similar resort.
