Job Title:   Coordinator Marketing & Advertising

  • The primary duty of the coordinator will be work that directly affects the operation of our department and its interaction with our customers.  
  • They will be assigned projects for both properties in which they will have direct oversight and management including our email capture program, social media* campaigns, and other related marketing campaign management.  All of which will be measured and analyzed for success and profitability.   
  • They will manage email campaigns by creating and facilitating all promotional components within multiple departments and ensure these components are implemented correctly.  
  • They will work with Database for data requests and segmentations as well as assist with the oversight of all collateral created for campaigns.   
  • They will be responsible for the execution and placement of hotel marketing collateral including entertainment, food and beverage, in-room, front services and  special promotional events
  • Signage installation and placement/removal will often require them to be available on property outside normal operating hours. 
  • Marketing events will often require them to be available on property longer than an 8 hour workday
  • Social media oversight and implementation will require them to participate in this medium during hours normally considered “off” time.  
  • Prepare project request forms for e-blasts, group codes, hotel packages, signage, and other related marketing projects 
  • Coordinate email capture program throughout each property including data input and uploading of data into Guestbook.  
  • Maintain accurate information on property websites and submit requests for revisions as directed
  • Assist with social media efforts including development, implementation, and tracking of programs. 
  • Assist with the preparation of the Interactive Marketing monthly Benchmark report
  • Assist with installation of signage and placement of collateral 
  • Maintain/monitor on property inventory of collateral including coupon books, key packets, forms, etc. 
  • Manage the Database schedule and update as needed. 
  • Assist with preparation of weekly guest communication pieces
  • Assist with coordinating and implementing marketing events as needed 



  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Advanced reading and writing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to observe and recall details and effective decision-making, social and organizational skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to frequently move freely about the office, sit for long periods and withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending.
  • Maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.


  • Previous experience working in a luxury or similar resort
