JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Makes detailed written reports or follow-up reports on incidents that occur on property.
  • Conducts investigations into employee misconduct, handling these types of investigations with sensitivity and within the policies and procedures of the Security Department.
  • Works closely with Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies while conducting investigations.
  • Reviews reports and investigations to determine patterns, set up overt and covert operations to reduce incidents on property and to protect our guests and employees.
  • Works closely with Risk Management and all departments.
  • Any and all duties as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • At least 1 year Security experience and/or military or police background required, investigative background.
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and File Net computer programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment, providing external and internal guests with an exceptionally enjoyable experience while performing functions of the position.
  • Ability to work in environment that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, and dimly lit. 
  • Ability to drive a van, truck, or car, and ride a bicycle, communication via two-way radio and telephone.
  • Have normal hearing and vision range required, eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity, ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Possess ability to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while working under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. 
 
Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
