Makes detailed written reports or follow-up reports on incidents that occur on property.
Conducts investigations into employee misconduct, handling these types of investigations with sensitivity and within the policies and procedures of the Security Department.
Works closely with Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies while conducting investigations.
Reviews reports and investigations to determine patterns, set up overt and covert operations to reduce incidents on property and to protect our guests and employees.
Works closely with Risk Management and all departments.
Any and all duties as directed.
At least 1 year Security experience and/or military or police background required, investigative background.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and File Net computer programs.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment, providing external and internal guests with an exceptionally enjoyable experience while performing functions of the position.
Ability to work in environment that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, and dimly lit.
Ability to drive a van, truck, or car, and ride a bicycle, communication via two-way radio and telephone.
Have normal hearing and vision range required, eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity, ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols.
Possess ability to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while working under pressure.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
