JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • A working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) that pertain to Part 91 operations, including CFR Part 61 pilot qualification and training requirements .
  • A working knowledge of Global Aircraft Operations and all the policies and regulations governing aircraft operation in US and foreign airspace .
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of aircraft systems, limitations, and operating procedures.
  • Fosters and promotes the MGM Resorts Aviation safety culture in all aspects of aircraft operation.
  • Assists the Pilot-in-Command in the discharge of his responsibilities, including the safe conduct of the flight at all times.
  • Assists the cabin attendants in providing excellent customer service.
  • Be prepared to assume the duties of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) if the PIC becomes incapacitated.
  • Functions as a backup to the PIC during high-workload situations.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • Must hold a FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Airplane, Multiengine Land endorsement, a First Class Medical Certificate, and a FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
  • Must have logged a minimum of 2500 hours total pilot flight time, 1500 hours of multiengine turbine time, experience in large cabin aircraft, and digital avionics.
  • Experience in operating large-cabin aircraft required.
  • No FAA accidents/incidents.
  • Must hold a valid US passport with no restrictions to travel.
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts and guests.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be available in an on-call, short-notice status.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Previous experience working in a luxury or similar resort.
