Walk all areas of the casino to greet guests and handle issues which may arise.
Escort employees as necessary.
Operate a two-way radio to communicate with the Control Room and other Security staff.
Resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees.
Monitor access to restricted areas.
Provide assistance to disabled / impaired people including those in wheelchairs.
Remove and carry drop boxes from the gaming tables.
Monitor access to guest rooms by checking room keys at the elevator lobby.
Operate company owned vehicles, trucks, and motorized carts to respond to incidents and maintain security on and off the property.
Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) machine when emergencies arise.
Use computer to complete reports regarding property incidents such as guest accidents, personal property damage, vehicle accidents, theft, and guest complaints.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Must possess a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
Able to complete a CPR / AED class within 60 days of employment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous security and / or military experience.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a luxury or similar resort.
