GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
rovide support to staff on all company supported technology applications and hardware.  Troubleshoot computer problems and determine source and advise on appropriate action.  This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and periodically works with support staff and development staff.  Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Answer staff questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications; troubleshoot computer problems; determine source of computer problems; advise staff on appropriate action; serve as liaison between staff and the network and development teams to resolve issues; provide recommendations on company application purchases; document resolutions for future reference.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Degree in computer science, MIS, or business administration supplemented with one or more courses or certifications in current technology preferred; experience with hardware and software installation in a PC environment; general knowledge of new technologies and business software; knowledge of windows desktop products and of setting up new users in active directory; ability to administer user email accounts and support networked printers and multi- function printing devices; working knowledge of PC components; orientation and training of new staff; ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously; facilitation and change management skills; highly developed verbal and written communications; ability to learn and comprehend new technologies with minimal management; ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
 
 
Heavy Work:Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
