The primary mission of all employees is to provide the customers, both internal and external, of Mathis Brothers with the most efficient and effective service possible. Each employee is expected to treat all customers with courtesy and respect.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under general supervision, the housekeeper is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary surrounding for the employees and public; promotes sanitary conditions that prevent the spread of infection and odor. Must be able to work efficiently, self- motivated, and take direction well.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment; responsible for the disposal of trash; Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
;Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them; Service, clean, and supply restrooms; Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Perform other related work as required.
Ability to repetitively lift heavy equipment of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working others; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 50 lbs rarely, 20 lbs occasionally, and 10 lbs frequently.
Works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
