GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Store Manager oversees the day- to- day operations of the store that include managing staff, finding new ways to improve sales, and meeting customers demands.  Ability to use experience and good judgment to make appropriate decisions.  Aptitude for organizing tasks, managing time, and prioritizing projects. Outstanding judgment, initiative, and drive.  Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.  Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks.  Perform other related work as required.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Provide level of service which ensure customers return; handle customer requests and complaints professionally; create and maintain a store environment which invites and welcomes customers to the store; complies with company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction to achieve store objective; effectively manage employee turnover; provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately; conduct sales meetings; manage and motivate sales teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency; respond to customer complaints and comments; tour the sales floor and warehouse regularly and identify or resolve issues; provide work direction; resolve staff questions; coordinate workflow; oversee hiring of front office employees;  monitor employee schedules and hours; enforce all company policies and procedures; perform evaluations and disciplinary actions when needed; use excellent customer relations.  

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures. Management experience required.
 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
 
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
