GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Primary responsibility is to call customers two days before the delivery and verify the delivery date, address, phone number, and merchandise. Effectively perform these functions while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Maintain a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches. Effectively communicate customer service issues and requests to management. Perform any other duties as directed by management.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Pull up pre call dialer on our net; call the customer to verify the delivery date, customers address, phone numbers, and merchandise; note comments on the ticket; if any ticket has a credit hold, get with the supervisor or manager to care of the balance; print out the pre call report once all calls are made; invoice the pickup tickets as the customers receive the merchandise.
Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Indoor climate controlled environment.
