Summary:  Resolve computer user concerns by answering questions about hardware and software and provides instructions on use. Remain customer service oriented and professional during stressful situations.
  1. Determine source of systems problems and concerns of internal customers via telephone, e-mail and fax. Maintain a high level of customer service and professional attitude at all times.
  2. Provide user support for inquiries and problems.
  3. Test and audit user applications of software to assure its effectiveness.
  4. Extract data from user requests and generates reports.
  5. Maintains technical knowledge of the DEC system and PC applications.
  6. Provides analysis and audit of system efficiencies, maintains interface with systems analysts and programmers.
  7. Reviews procedures and actions taken by user and instructs user to perform diagnostic procedures.
  8. Resolve problems by issuing corrective instructions; consulting with coworkers and vendors.
  9. Improves programs by notifying programmers of problems and analyzes and suggests corrective action for system errors.
  10. Participate as member of Business Systems team to ensure that KIT information s systems is running and supports business needs.
  11. Interface with relevant departments as a resource for development and maintenance of reference materials and manuals.
  12. Maintain a high level of customer focus.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.  Accomplish related results as needed.

Education–  BS in Computer Science, Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience– 2-4 years in Business Systems, Help Desk or related experience.

*  Cognos Reporting
