LiveOps is looking for experienced licensed life and health insurance sales professionals to contract with to answer inbound phone calls on behalf of our client. As an independent life insurance sales agent, you will work from home assisting customers in understanding the different insurance products available to them, and striving to close the sale by having the caller complete an insurance application and securing payment in one call.

What are the calls like
Inbound, real-time insurance leads come from people who call for a quote after seeing an advertisement on TV or reading a direct-mail ad. As a LiveOps independent life insurance sales agent, you will help customers find a policy, get a quote, and complete an insurance application. Our client’s marketing efforts drive people to call and LiveOps independent insurance sales agents use their product knowledge to help customers understand the different insurance products available to them, and complete an insurance application in one call.
 
Earning Potential
Independent agents earn money for time spent talking on the phone and may also receive performance-based pay, commissions, or incentives. The talk-time rate for remote insurance sales agents is $0.30 cents per minute of talk time plus a payment on performance for applications with payment. Life insurance sales agents typically invoice $16 to $18 per hour, while top performing agents generate a range of $22 to 24 per hour with no earning caps or limits.
 
Earning potential is not guaranteed and is based on many factors including the state(s) in which your business is licensed, the number of state licenses you have and your performance. 
 
Flexible Hours
Calls are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Peak call volume occurs 11am-7pm EST, including weekends.
 
Independent agents make their own flexible schedule by self-scheduling to take calls in 30-minute blocks. Independent agents can self-schedule to commit to specified time blocks that work best for them.

Skills needed for success

 

 

  • Hold a Life and Health Insurance Producer License in good standing in your resident state
  • Desire to be your own boss and to work from home
  • Sales skills, including the ability to overcome customer objections and negotiate a sale
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry ability
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to set up and maintain your home office, including the cost of your own office equipment.
  • Ability to learn and use customized software and applications


Application and Certification Process
Interested agents should apply online. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to become an independent contractor with LiveOps and provide services to our client as an independent life insurance sales agent. This invitation is contingent upon you signing the LiveOps Independent Contractor Agreement and all related authorizations electronically.
 
Once you become an independent agent, our client will conduct a background and credit check. If our client does not approve your background check, your business will be removed from the licensed insurance opportunity. If removed, your business will need to submit and pass a background and credit check through First Advantage to be eligible for other LiveOps independent agent opportunities.
 
LiveOps’ client companies require you to complete the LiveOps Call Center certification courses and their program-related certification before your business can start answering calls. This is a combination of self-paced eLearning courses and live virtual classroom learning sessions conducted via conference call. The initial phase of certification takes approximately one week, during which time the client mandates that your business adhere to the certification schedule and attend all required virtual classroom learning sessions.
