Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is presently seeking an eDiscovery Legal Account Manager to join our successful Sales Team in the Washington DC marketplace.  The responsibilities of this position include developing new and existing business.  Along with this focus is the business need to develop strong client relationships and provide excellent client service from point of contact to close. 

This is a ‘HUNTER” position and you MUST have previous experience selling legal technology and related services to law firms. 

The successful applicant will be able to:

  • Prospect for business customers through current and past relationships, networking, cold calling, trade show attendance and marketing campaigns-appointments with Attorneys, Directors of Litigation and C-level contacts are crucial
  • Build, develop and nurture customer relationships with acquired clients
  • Responsible for moderately complex, well-defined sales opportunities
  • Drive revenue, maintain accountability for set goals and objectives, and attain and exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Prepare and present professional proposals/service solutions specific to the customer’s needs
  • Develop sales plans and penetrate new accounts
  • Deliver demonstrates of technology offerings.
  • Lead subject matter experts during the sales process to ensure success
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  •  Assist in developing financial forecasts

Requirements:

Must have previous experience selling legal technology services; the ability to build new relationships with law firms and previous experience selling eDiscovery solutions a plus.

We will offer a base salary and a competitive commission structure. 


 Experience in E-Discovery or legal technology solutions

At least a B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience

Demonstrated ability to achieve a multi-million dollar annual quota.

Successful track record in targeting, developing and closing litigation support or legal technology business.

Attention to detail with the ability to answer client’s technical questions and develop specifications as necessary.

Tech savvy (Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, using Web-Ex or similar online meeting tools and conducting meetings/presentations via conference call)

Excellent cold-calling skills with a proven track record of success.

Demonstrated ability to develop strong client relationships based on trust, honesty, follow through and technical competence. 

Proven ability to work in a team environment and develop team ownership of client.

Effective corporate presence with proven ability to make presentations and work with attorneys, partners and high-level managers as well as litigation support staff.
