Description:

Canon Business Process Services, a Manhattan-based subsidiary of Canon USA, seeks a results-driven senior Director of Service Marketing with zeal for data-driven digital marketing and experience in technology-enabled B2B services. This individual will plan and execute comprehensive integrated marketing programs, especially acquisition throughout the customer lifecycle; online; content and collateral creation; branding; and events. Candidates must have hands-on experience managing information rich web sites and infrastructure, and be skilled at applying marketing automation. This opportunity requires superior analytical and business writing skills. The Director must be able to write content that exhibits clear understanding of target audience needs, our services, technology, and industry environment. This individual reports to the CMO.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Produce, own and execute an annual marketing action plan which outlines goals and comprehensive tactical programs that allocate the budget and support company strategies
  • Create and execute ongoing coordinated waves of data-driven acquisition email, nurture and lifecycle campaigns that produce qualified leads to support sales
  • Deploy and use marketing automation system, integrated with web site and CRM lead pipeline
  • Plan and create all marketing collateral, content and sales enablement tools. Should be a productive, innovative creator of content.
  • Manage and update web site content and infrastructure, designing for usability and best practices, and applying insights from web analytics
  • Develop web marketing strategies and manage key investments, including search and social
  • Develop differentiated creative strategies for services and segments, and consistent messaging
  • Effectively lead team and manage, train and utilize offsite lead qualification staff resources
  • Carefully manage, track and issue monthly reporting on the marketing budget
  • Plan and manage the annual off-site executive meeting, trade shows and events
  • Implement, educate and enforce brand standards and the design aesthetic; own this area
  • Measure, regularly report and optimize campaign performance and marketing effectiveness with metrics that are directly tied to business outcomes and performance
  • Identify, interpret and communicate key strategies and trends within target markets
  • Consistently monitor and communicate at least annual reports on competitor and industry trends
  • Direct, field and analyze client and market research and disseminate analyses internally
  • Ensure all projects are in line with company goals, on budgetand on schedule
  • Cooperate with other Canon business units to maximize collective brand market impact
  • Identify and manage partnerships with agencies, digital, creative and research resources

Requirements:

Requires 10-15 years of marketing experience, preferably business-to-business services; 5+ years leading teams
  • Record of success in planning, executing, testing and measuring complex data-driven digital and lead generation programs
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
  • Deep expertise in planning and executing integrated marketing programs and deploying/using marketing automation
  • Deep expertise creating well-written content and collateral that speaks knowledgeably to CXO, finance, IT, purchasing
  • Expertise in managing web site and integration with marketing applications, keeping current with best practices
  • Expertise in setting marketing KPI, reporting and analysis
  • Expertise in segmentation and marketing to industry verticals
  • Strong hands-on expertise creating and implementing brand communications plans and programs
  • Highly comfortable dealing in software and hardware based service sectors, and blended solutions
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems, CRM and web content management systems
  • Knowledge of industry trends and evolving technology changes
  • Exceptional business writing skills and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, marketing automation systems such as Marketo, CRMs like salesforce.com and CMS systems
  • Proficient at structuring and writing presentations, collateral and other content, and market survey analyses
