Manager - Operations

 
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for operations management of Operations Vendor Services.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental activities and organizations policies, procedures, and attainment of operating goals.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding client expectations and contractual SLAs. Establish, implement, and maintain client service standards to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Acts as a job knowledge expert lending expertise to less senior team members and peers.
  • Assigns, or delegates responsibility for specified work or functional activities and disseminates policies and objectives to staff.
  • Evaluates current processes and procedures for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved practices.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems.
  • Creates and coordinates with client key updates that impact overall delivery to the clients, this may include and not limited to, Performance improvement Ideas, overall coverage enhancement, impact in regions where clients place orders, ISGN location impacting delivery of service, etc.
  • Monitoring staff/product standards and implementing quality- control programs and other business initiatives.
  • Organizes resources to ensure department/function goals are effectively met.
  • Initiate or authorize associate hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.
  • Prepares reports and records on department activities for management.
  • Maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information stored in the ISGN’s computer networks and data communications infrastructure.   • Ensures Compliance with State Laws
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; will allow substitution of job experience in lieu of a degree.

Job Related Experience:  five to seven years’ experience in the financial services industry.  Sufficient experience, including supervisory experience, to maintain an in-depth understanding of the organization and business and handle problems and issues that arise, and solve problems without precedents or guidelines; makes decisions to take planned actions within approved budget/policy to determine allocation of company resources.

Management Experience:   Minimum Two years’ of management experience in the Title industry

 

Travel Requirements: as requested. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record. Must be willing to fly.

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods of time.

 

Position Requirements: Will be responsible for management of transactional, business and compliance tasks/actions of the BU processes assigned. Will be required to monitor and mentor staff on performance metrics and goals set for the period. Key communication with clients and Sr. management with ISGN will be led by the senior manager of the department. Financial goals including revenue and gross margins will be part of senior manager’s goals.  Must be Customer Focused.

 

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: Ability to write reports, business correspondence and policies and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate information, including responding to questions, to managers, team members and/or customers one-on-one or in groups.

 

Applicable business skills necessary to maximize and improve production, service and operational efficiency. Skill in building and managing teams.
