The Marketing Coordinator will work with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Americas team, VP of Sales, Showroom Manager, Account Executives, vendors, and customers to impact the company’s goals of expanding customer reach, enhancing the customer experience while supporting the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives with measurable results in accordance with company goals, segmentation strategies, market trends and account targets.

Essential Duties:  

• Prepare documents for translation, send to the translation company and revise the translated version in French

• Assist in organizing events/tradeshows for clients and coordinate the delivery of promotional materials needed for events

• Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and graphic designers

• Manage requests and inquiries from Account Executives

• Support and assist with development of marketing materials

• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and other team members to ensure efficient leveraging of marketing activities

• Update the English and French websites’ content in CMS

• Support sample management of the showroom

• Support catering and hosting of client event


Educational Requirements:  

The Interface Marketing Coordinator holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration. 

Skills and Experience:  

• Minimum 2 years proven marketing and project management experience in a corporate or agency environment

• Ability to write and edit for a wide variety of communication styles and needs 

• Experience working against a project plan, maintaining project schedules and working within a project budget

• Knowledge of layout, design and print production

• Understanding of integrated interactive marketing techniques such as email marketing, software and social media

• Experience with Content Management System (CMS) and update content on website

• Trade Show/Event planning, coordination and execution experience

• Demonstrated bilingual (French and English) communication skills,

verbal and written

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects

and meet tight deadlines

• Project management, analysis, and reporting skills

• Highly motivated, detail oriented, resourceful self-starter with

proactive approach to work

• Ability to work well in a team environment and to collaborate with

internal and external resources

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote

• Experience with Photoshop and InDesign

Physical Demands:

Normal use of office equipment, including computer, telephone system, and related tools. Occasional moderate lifting, including carrying of laptop computer and presentation materials. 

Work Environment:  

Overtime is sometimes required to meet business demands and schedules. Flexible working hours may be considered. Climate controlled office environment.

This position will work in our Toronto Showroom, with periodic travel to our Belleville, Ontario office and occasional travel to meetings, conferences, and trade events in Canada and the US.
