If so, then our Compensation Manager role is for you! 

Interface is looking for a Compensation Manager who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and practices that align with the market and with Interface’s compensation philosophy.  This role will provide compensation consulting support to our leaders and business partners and lead various compensation projects and processes.

Essentials Functions

  • Build global compensation programs including base pay, short- and long-term incentives and translate these programs into action with a consultative approach and hands on management of the work
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s global compensation plans (executive compensation, bonus plans, equity administration, compliance reporting)
  • Partner with leaders and business partners to optimize HR processes, harmonize job leveling, compensation structures and global compensation data/practices
  • Participate in global market data surveys and various benchmarking requests 
  • Analyze global survey information and sources to ensure competitive compensation programs and practices
  • Lead the administration of global compensation projects such as the annual merit cycle and recommendations, new hire offers, promotions, market evaluations, job leveling/harmonization and the annual bonus programs
  • Develop and facilitate leader training on how to make and communicate salary decisions to employees
  • Develop a strong understanding of our HR Systems and Platforms to ensure data integrity and processes are consistently improving to meet growing business needs and the organization’s global footprint
  • Ensure compliance of all compensation programs with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of global best practices and cutting-edge approaches, seeking to design a better way of approaching the compensations structure
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with all stakeholders


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree required
  • CCP is preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience and strong knowledge of global compensation programs and practices, including base pay and allowances, short- and long-term incentives, executive compensation, plan administration and platforms
  • Effective execution skills, leveraging both internal and external partners and vendors
  • Strong HRIS and Reporting/Analytical experience
  • Experience in sales and executive compensation is required
