Job Summary:

Interface has multiple openings for 2nd and 3rd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor roles in Troup County, GA.  These roles will be positioned at our various locations in Troup County. 

Position summary:

Supervise and coordinate activities of associates engaged in the manufacturing processes to attain shift goals for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

Essential duties:

  • Direct resources to ensure adherence to production schedule while maintaining the lowest possible cost
  • Ensure proper work methods are being used.
  • Ensure that all activities are being performed safely.
  • Ensure adherence to all quality procedures
  • Analyze work orders to determine the need for supplies and sequence of operation.
  • Coordinate flow of materials through manufacturing processes
  • Ensure proper training of associates in the operation and adjustment of machines and equipment.
  • Ensure proper conformance to specifications to prevent defects
  • Adjust resource utilization to meet production schedule
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and systems
  • Enforce company, plant, and departmental safety regulations
  • Interpret specifications and job orders to associates, and assigns duties
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate associates to achieve work goals
  • Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
  • Oversee training of new associates
  • Maintain time and production records
  • May estimate, requisition, and inspect materials
  • Must partner with other department managers in order to coordinate activities
  • Conduct performance appraisals


Educational requirements:

  • Prefer bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related degree program with a minimum of three (3) years industry experience required. 
  • Will accept high school diploma with a minimum of five (5) years progressive leadership experience in industry.

Skills and experience:

  • Must have industry experience – years of experience required varies based on degree held
  • Must have proven experience in problem-solving in complex environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
