Sales Director, Services

Job Summary:

The Interface Services Sales Director is responsible for sales growth and the development and implementation of process and service strategies on defined major account opportunities within a defined geographical area . The sales director works as part of a national sales team, that is charged with providing the best in class overall customer experience with selected key accounts and account targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Business Development in 10-15 high growth/developmental accounts in specified region
  • Work closely with AVP in specified area to achieve area growth goals.
  • Work closely with other sales director team members to achieve nationwide coverage of key accounts
  • Effectively work with local Interface Account Executives in region in developing new opportunities
  • Maintain current training on relevant ISO documents
  • Comply with safety rules
  • Comply with environmental regulations
  • Be aware of Safety Data Sheets



Educational requirements: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or an equivalent education background

Skills and experience:

  • Proven successful experience managing large major accounts representing a portfolio of $10 to $15 million annually with a preference for a background in the commercial interiors market.
  • Prior experience in commercial floorcovering installation is preferred, but not essential
  • Prefer at least five years of successful national account sales experience, preferably in the carpet or flooring industry. Must have successful track record of building business with national accounts.
