JOB SUMMARY:
 The FLOR Store Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the FLOR retail store, driving sales, motivating the store associates, and ensuring that the FLOR brand is consistently and graciously managed within the Store’s market.  The Store Manager is accountable for the overall financial performance of the Store, managing the day to day activities of the Store team, and effectively communicating all issues to FLOR senior management

QUALIFICATION:
 Essential duties:
Deliver monthly Store sales objectives both through individual selling and managing the Store team performance
Drive profitability and being aware of all Store operating metrics
Champion the industry leading environmental metrics as identified for the FLOR store models
Responsible for opening and closing the Store
Handle cash sales and responsible for balancing cash drawer
Analyze store merchandise and recommend and coordinate with the Marketing department to implement
Manage local HR issues in alignment with corporate HR guidelines and processes
Provide interior design expertise to customer
Host store events for Designers and consumers in alignment with FLOR marketing objectives
Manage inventory Responsible for efficient and accurate sample process
Maintain housekeeping expectation
Comply with safety rules
Comply with environmental regulations
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Willingness to learn and understand Interface's commitment to sustainability
Perform other duties as assigned
 
Physical demands: 
Lifting up to 45 lbs
 
Work environment:
General store
Retail store
Weekend work required

 Educational requirements: 
HS/GED
College degree preferred; specialization in Business or Design
Project certification and LEED accreditation strongly preferred
