Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for collaborating on all strategic marketing initiatives utilizing the customer database. In addition this position will responsible for planning, developing and executing the direct mail plan.   


Eucational requirements: 
BS/BA or equivalent
Skills and experience:
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Minimum of five years experience as a catalog circulation manager. 
Multi-channel experience strongly preferred
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations strongly preferred
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Ability to self-direct
Excellent teamwork skills
Strategic thinking skills
Excellent computer skills
Essential duties:
Socialization of customer insights across all channels to aid in the strategic direction of the company
Provide actionable recommendations based on customer product purchasing behaviors.
Plan, develop and execute mail plans to optimize mailing performance and achieve company sales and profit goals.
Assure integrity of company databases and maximize response through initiating and executing internal and external file hygiene processes.  Recommend changes to databases to enhance database marketing activities.
Provide recommendations to all channels of the business as it relates to building the house file
Identify potential synergies across channels utilizing the customer data
Execute management-level summary reports and supporting detailed reporting in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Creative team to develop and implement off-line programs to increase response.
Manage modeling activities for diverse segments of prospecting, requestor, and house lists with the Abacus, NextAction, and others
Manage the vendor relationships with service bureau and list management/list broker.
Support and work with the on-line marketing resources and catalog creative group to ensure integrated strategy between on-line/off-line and between creative strategy/mail strategies.
Staff and develop personnel.  Establish and document systems, policies and procedures; including budgets, plans and reports that ensure efficient, effective operations.
Manage external DB vendor
Development and maintenance of customer dashboard
Manage the catalog production process to ensure direct mail is cost efficient
