Job Description

This is a 24 hour operation for Direct Store Deliveries
Work schedules include weekends and holidays as assigned.

To deliver dairy products to stores and provide quality customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  1. Drive truck safely on delivery route. Transport routes as assigned.
  2. Delivery Order Record Keeping as required.
  3. Organizational skills.
  4. Other duties as assigned or necessitated by change or condition.

Education and/or Experience:
The person must have a Commercial Driver’s License “A” or "B" as determined by DOT regulations. The person must have at experience in retail and/or customer sales.
The person must have driving experience under adverse weather conditions.

Language Skills:
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:
Must have basic math skills for invoicing and order completion.

Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to use good judgment in handling customer service situations.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to Walk 50% of the time, Stand 15% and Sit 35%.
Lifting and carrying of products does not exceed 50 lbs.
Pushing and Pulling does not exceed 250 lbs.
Climbing and balancing is 10% of the job.
Crouching, kneeling is 25% of the job.
Stooping is 25% of the job.
Reaching and handling is 25% of the job.
Must maintain a current DOT Physical Certification.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to the weather conditions as the seasons dictate when delivering product to customers. Employee is also subject to the various delivery environments encountered at customer locations. i.e. stairs, ramps, etc.
