Essential Functions…
  • Plan, organize, direct and provide leadership necessary for achieving plant objects in the areas of Safety, Quality, Performance, and Cost.
  • Responsible for successful attainment of daily production objectives, implementation of policies, and most effective utilization of available resources.
  • Responsible for enforcement of GMP’s in their business unit. Enforce adherence to manufacturing instructions, quality standards, and GMP’s.
Provides direct leadership to the plant production, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and transportation departments.
  • Must exhibit working knowledge of in-plant and regulatory audits and inspection, sampling and testing programs required, operations of equipment and plant, etc.
  • Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, variances, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Ensures effective communication between teams and other department by ensuring effective meeting regarding company performance and safety.
  • Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
  • Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on shifting priorities.
  • Must not only have troubleshooting skills, but also be able to lead in problem resolution in order to ensure that all products and processes are continuously improving.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance and Accident Investigated is conducted thoroughly and timely.
  • Plans and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  • Responsible for assisting in the Training and Development of Production Employees and ensuring they comply with all SOP’s.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager


  • 4yr Degree in Related Sciences Preferred
  • 5+ years of Supervisory/Dairy experience in a union environment.
  • Advanced Computer Skill (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Team oriented individual.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Communication skills are a must.
