Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to vigilantly operate, clean, and assemble all upstream and downstream equipment on the P6 line, following all associated SOPs.
  • Must have a valid CDL and a current medical certificate.
  • Ability to make controlled adjustments to equipment to optimize the running efficiency.
  • Ability to safely load trucks and hostle trailers.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems and concepts.
  • Comfortable with PLC controlled equipment.
  • Must attend a Company-organized Better Process Control School and receive the BPCS certificate.
  • Must work around cleaning chemicals and be able to lift and carry 65 lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations.
  • Upholds highest quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
  • Makes controlled adjustments to equipment to optimize the running efficiency of the line.
  • Addresses equipment problems in an aggressive manner, as to minimize downtime.
  • Determine line “bottlenecks” and take action to improve.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations.
  • Properly receives and stores all production daily supplies.
  • Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
  • Communicates with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Ensures that all resources are available for production run.
  • Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.
  • Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
  • Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with off-going Line Technician.
  • Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.

SQF Requirements…

  • Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Report food safety problems to personal with authority to initiate action.
  •  Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
