Position Summary:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs to machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform a variety of installations and preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including electrical and plumbing, ensuring equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, steam system, water system, hydraulic system, electrical system, pneumatic system, and any fluid system as applies. Electrical system
  • Handle tools and equipment properly and use required protective gear.
  • Rebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, , conveyors, etc.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude.
  • Perform  welding, grinding and cutting.
  • Comply with all Federal State and Company Safety Guidelines and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of preventative maintenance procedures for various pieces of equipment.
  • Responsible for waste water treatment operations.
  • Work with little supervision.
  • Weekend work required, as well as holiday work.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned duties following “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.  


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • High level of demonstrated mechanical experience and aptitude required.
  • Demonstrated high level mechanical aptitude and ability in hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general manufacturing maintenance.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with welding, electrical, boilers, refrigeration, machinery repair and PLC troubleshooting and programs.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated.
