Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs to machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.
Perform a variety of installations and preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including electrical and plumbing, ensuring equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair pumps, boilers, steam system, water system, hydraulic system, electrical system, pneumatic system, and any fluid system as applies. Electrical system
Handle tools and equipment properly and use required protective gear.
Rebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, , conveyors, etc.
Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude.
Perform welding, grinding and cutting.
Comply with all Federal State and Company Safety Guidelines and procedures.
Participate in the development of preventative maintenance procedures for various pieces of equipment.
Responsible for waste water treatment operations.
Work with little supervision.
Weekend work required, as well as holiday work.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
Perform assigned duties following “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
High level of demonstrated mechanical experience and aptitude required.
Demonstrated high level mechanical aptitude and ability in hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general manufacturing maintenance.
Good organizational and time management skills
Experience with welding, electrical, boilers, refrigeration, machinery repair and PLC troubleshooting and programs.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be self-motivated.
