Human Resources Coordinator
Oversee and administer the weekly Kronos payroll system.
Organization and administration of employee records, including benefits and other required documentation in compliance with local and corporate HR programs and practices. This includes the maintenance of the attendance records and providing reports to managers.
Update and post monthly HR reports & metrics.
Administration HR Logix -- track applications/resumes, assist HR Manager in writing/posting employment advertisements and job bids.
Participate in recruitment effort for non-exempt personnel including the coordination of pre-employment background checks/drug screens/physicals; and coordinate the use of temporary/contract workers.
Ensure proper compliance with DOL, EEOC, OFCCP, and Wage and Hour Departments to include maintenance of employee records and required labor law postings.
Assist with the development, delivery, administration and implementation of employee training programs, including new employee orientation programs.
Create and distribute monthly employee communications & postings (table talkers, pay stuffers, birthday, anniversary & meeting notices).
Liaison with Payroll, Benefits and HRIS department staff to maintain up-to-date employee data base information.
Assist in tracking of the performance appraisal and exit interview process. Process all unemployment and employment verification paperwork in compliance with corporate and legal guidelines.
Prepare HR purchase order requests and monitor supply of all personnel related items.
Support on-site training.
Special projects/duties as assigned.
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of Associates Degree in related field preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Publisher).
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
