DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

Description:

This position is responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of automated digital marketing campaigns on Hershey Entertainment and Resorts’ branded websites, email campaigns, SMS and push notifications. The Digital Marketing Manager - Automation will also lead search engine optimization efforts and reporting using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other tools.

 

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

  • Organize and launch day to day automated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and push notifications in various platforms in order to enhance customer communication and increase sales.*
  • Compile and track data using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other analytics programs to build strategies for campaign maintenance and effectiveness. Setup data tools to ensure captured data is meaningful and useful.*
  • Monitor and implement strategies to optimize traffic flow from search engines to HE&R brand websites. Audit existing content and make recommendations for organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) success.*
  • Collaborate with creative team, marketing managers, IT, data analytics team, paid media team and outside agency teams to provide recommendations and connect the dots cross-functionally for campaigns.*
  • Design and carry out Alpha/Beta testing on automated marketing campaigns. Evaluate results and adjust campaigns as needed in order to maximize results.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with outside technology vendors and internal IT department stakeholders
  • Make occasional website updates in Dreamweaver/CMS as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Must have 3+ years of related experience with an email automation/CRM system, Oracle preferred
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 9 years


    Additional Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience - Hospitality/Tourism
  • Knowledgeable in basic HTML
  • Competent with best practices of search engine optimization
  • Experienced with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, often changing environment with competing deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Experienced in working in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
