JOB DESCRIPTION:
OVERALL PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
 
This position manages the production process of the Manufacturing floor to meet the production schedule and supervises the production staff to maximize production and maintain good employee relations.
 
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures that all elements of production are available on a daily basis so that production requirements are met in each production area of the plant.  Elements of production include parts, properly operating machinery and equipment and trained, skilled personnel.
  • Assist in the determination of the required number of production staff to meet the production schedule.
  • Track accurate count of shortages per job
  • Assign the work of each production area on a daily basis, to ensure that production schedules and requirements are met.
  • Evaluate the correct standard time for assembly processes and identify potential production bottlenecks.
  • Supervise the production employees in the application of approved procedures and technics, quality of work and productivity.  Manage the relations with the production staff, resolving any issues or disputes which occur, with the goal of maintaining good employee relations.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of a clean, hazard free workplace.
  • Maintain production documentation such as bar codes, ID numbers for games, game files, etc.
