  • Perform bench level repairs on various electronic gaming and lottery equipment.
  • Offer customer assistance via phone support.
  • In-house support for various departments including equipment preparation/reconfiguration and trade show support.
  • Field support for new product implementation or reconfiguration/upgrades. This could include frequent and extensive travelling to domestic and international destinations.
  • Ability to provide training to customers.
  • Ability to generate documentation such as step-by step procedures.
  • Ability to read schematic drawings.
  • Ability to follow all rules and regulations in place for all assigned jurisdiction including shipping and repair procedures as well as on-site rules and regulations.
  • Good understanding of all products and procedures necessary to service and maintain various lottery and gaming equipment.
  • Perform installations, de-installations and relocations of various lottery and gaming products.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to determine cause of failure and perform necessary resolution or escalation as required. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or repairing the malfunctioning component in either field or bench level environments.
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with customers and co-workers.
  • Assists in the resolution of player disputes.
  • Knowledge of in-house or third party connectivity from host systems.
  • Ability to use component specific utilities such as downloading tools for currency acceptors and printing devices.
  • Maintains log of service calls using designated service databases.
  • Maintains designated technician area.
  • Must be versatile and proficient on multiple platforms and technologies including but not limited to communication equipment, validation equipment and various vendor and manufactures terminals.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds loading and unloading equipment.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • 2 year electronic technician course.
  • 3 years minimum related work experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must have valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a passport.
  • All candidates must pass regular criminal and financial background checks mandated by state and provincial lotteries as well as various gaming commissions in order to acquire licenses to work in various jurisdictions.

  • Candidate must have strong reasoning skills and the ability to work independently.
