JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs a variety of duties related to the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of terminals and associated peripherals down to board level under general supervision. This position is also responsible for supporting field service technicians by distributing parts, tools and general inventory as well as the organization of the warehouse environment and resources.

  • Tests Point of Access and Communications equipment to determine cause of failure
  • Performs general cleaning and maintains organization of warehouse environment
  • Updates repair and inventory database
  • Inspects Point of Access equipment for damage
  • Cleans interior/exterior of Point of Access equipment as required
  • Supports Field Service Technicians with terminal related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies
  • Assists  in  maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts, sub-assemblies, and complete terminals as required
  • Assists in the up-keep of warehouse equipment and tools
  • Interfaces with various client services departments as needed
  • Performs shipping and receiving duties as required
  • Screens parts returned from vendors and repair centers for quality assurance
  • Interfaces with lottery and retail customers as required
  • Performs data entry and general administrative duties
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Operates forklift equipment
  • Provides assistance with field service activities, including but not related to service calls and installations, as required
  • Performs RMA's (Repair Maintenance Authorizations) for spare parts to third party vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience working with electronics and electromechanical devices required.
  • Experience working with communications and IP based technology preferred.
  • Experience navigating various software applications required.

  • Ability to work independently.  Self-motivated.
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Strong mechanical reasoning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others and the ability to maintain professionalism in his/her interactions with others

Other requirements
The incumbent  must possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record and demonstrate the ability to correctly perceive colors (required for troubleshooting).  

All candidates must pass criminal, education and employment background checks mandated by state lotteries and may be required to pass credit checks (varies by state).  A candidate must also pass pre-placement physical and drug testing requirements.
