The Infrastructure Project Manager (IPM) manages the deployment of GTECH technology solutions to various states and countries. The IPM is responsible for the overall quality, timing, cost, and dependencies of infrastructure deliverables during project implementations.
  • Coordinate with different sub-groups (accounting, GTO, NRO, software, QA, training, operations)
  • Manage team resources in a matrix organization
  • Gather effort/cost estimations from Tech Leads and summarize for costing team
  • Provide technical support during proposal process
  • Develop a infrastructure project plan as a component of the overall project plan
  • Establish and track infrastructure tasks and deliverables based on Infrastructure Requirements
  • Ensure all infrastructure deliverables are delivered within specification, budget, and schedule
  • Determine the scope of any requested changes to specifications
  • Notify Project Manager (PM) of potential impacts to infrastructure scope, budget, and/or schedule
  • Enforce adherence to infrastructure standards and processes
  • Use established tools and templates
  • Work with the PM to ensure the customer has a smooth transition to Services Department
  • Provide input for post project infrastructure employee performance evaluations

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in MIS (Management of Information Systems)  or equivalent experience
  • Five years’ experience in enterprise level infrastructure support (including understanding of maintenance contracts, end-of life, cost analysis, system support and data center activities).
  • Must have a minimum of intermediate proficiency using MS Office, MS Project and Visio
  • Competent Level Understanding of: Hardware technologies such as TCPIP, Cisco, Wan, LAN, Wireless, Data Centers, including how these operate, interface, and interact. Basic understanding of major operating systems and the differences between them (AIX, UNIX, Windows 2Kx, Linux)
