Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to exercise judgment and diplomacy in a wide variety of public contact situations; Ability to meet/exceed client needs and resolve complaints; Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and guests at all levels of the organization (extremely articulate); Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, multi-tasks and work independently; Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures; Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests; Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English; Ability to perform intermediate math; Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Food & Beverage software and ability to learn new software; Knowledge of appropriate union contracts; Knowledge of wines.
Education: High school education or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years restaurant experience & previous supervisory experience
Certificate / License: Michigan Gaming Occupational Level Two License / City of Detroit Food Handler Permit / Alcohol Awareness Program
