Armed Security Supervisor

<p><strong>$500 Signing Bonus</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Summary:</u></strong></p> <p>Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Security Department. Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests, team members, the company and their property. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges. Provide outstanding service to our guests with questions and/or concerns.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Essential Functions and Responsibilities: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned</li> <li>Provide protection for guests and team members</li> <li>Guard all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor and transport hopper fills, chip fills and credits</li> <li>Interact with guests and team members in a professional manner and interact with local law enforcement agencies as required</li> <li>Patrol all areas of the casino and hotel</li> <li>Assist guests with room keys</li> <li>Respond to reports of guest and/or team member injury or illness</li> <li>Preserve the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies</li> <li>Complete all incident reports pertaining to outside patrol issues</li> <li>Escort armored car personnel around the property</li> <li>Secure the operations office during in-custody situations</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position</li> <li>Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company&rsquo;s guest service culture standards</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul>


<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum two years of law enforcement, military or EMT experience highly preferred</li> <li>Proven experience using sound judgment and making appropriate decisions during challenging situations and/or interacting with challenging patrons</li> <li>Proven experience providing high level of guest service</li> <li>Excellent guest service skills</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and applications preferred</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence</li> <li>Able to attend and successfully complete all quarterly firearms training and annual security recertification training</li> <li>Compliance with all mandatory training courses and certifications on an annual basis (i.e. Sexual Harassment, New Leader Orientation, Active Shooter, AVADE, etc.)</li> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal</li> <li>Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company</li> <li>Verify right to work in the United States</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Work Cards</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Nevada Gaming</li> <li>Alcohol Awareness</li> <li>CPR and First Aid</li> <li>Must be able to qualify under Golden Entertainment requirements with his/her firearm under PILB guidelines</li> <li>NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Class</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work for continuous time periods in extreme heat and cold</li> <li>Regularly walk, stand, stoop or sit at a desk or table</li> <li>Ability to jog or run as situations dictate</li> <li>Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.</li> <li>Speech, literacy, hearing and vision (critical)</li> <li>Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding and ramps</li> <li>Ability to distinguish shades of color</li> <li>Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail</li> <li>Communicate via radios</li> </ul> <p style="margin-left:.5in">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Work Environment Potential Conditions</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Indoor and outdoor</li> <li>Smoky and noisy</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Disclaimer</u></strong></p> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
