Description:

Summary:

Plan, prepare, set up and provide quality service in all areas of the outlet to include, but not limited to, hot and cold menu items, desserts, and wines in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Take food and beverage orders, including wine and room service orders.
  • Retrieve and serve orders to guests courteously and efficiently ensuring that all charges are properly posted into the POS system.
  • Prepare all items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards.
  • Rotate all food items displayed for guests throughout the shift.
  • Provide fast and courteous table side service if they are dining in.
  • Bus tables and reset tables as established by restaurant standards.
  • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and resort requirements.
  • Complete closing duties according to department standards, including break-down of the work station and restocking items depleted during the shift.
  • Properly clean food preparation areas, reach-ins/walk-ins and shelves according to standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of POS and manual system.
  • Inform the shift supervisor and/or manager of any supplies that need to be ordered or of excess supplies that can be used in daily specials or elsewhere.
  • Notify management of assistance needed during busy periods to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Maintains cleanliness of lobby according to department standards.
  • Ensures proper sale of Smart Cards for Enomatic wine machine.
  • Comprehends and follows written and/or verbal instructions from supervisor or other member of management.
  • Operates sufficient dexterity in order to utilize cutlery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Attends training classes required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent or vocational training certificate strongly preferred
  • Previous experience as a barista, retail clerk or experience in a full service restaurant preferred
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations required
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and demands of the position.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
