Tavern Procurement Specialist

PT’s Tavern Group (Las Vegas, NV)



Work directly with the taverns’ operational leaders across all tavern venues to assist with the ordering and delivery tracking of all food and beverage products.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Note all food & beverage products used throughout the taverns
  • Coordinate deliveries and receiving in a 24-hour environment
  • Establish a standard process for all tavern leaders to follow regarding how to submit food and/or beverage product orders
  • Input all food & beverage product orders into the applicable ordering system (currently Red Rock, but always subject to change)
  • Track orders from initial submittal stage through confirmation of delivery to the appropriate tavern(s)
  • Clearly document all order transactions
  • Proactively run and submit reports to appropriate leadership regarding orders
  • Professionally question operational leadership and notify purchasing leadership when unapproved food and/or beverage products are attempted to be ordered, or if a leader is not following the approved ordering process
  • Assist Maintenance Department with order and receiving needs
  • Work with A/P Department in processing direct receivers and ensuring any issues with receivers are corrected to insure timely invoice processing
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
  • Assist Regional Culinary team with any training of new BOH team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Previous food and beverage experience preferred
  • Previous experience ordering food and beverage products preferred
  • Previous experience working with food and beverage ordering systems, preferably Red Rock
  • Knowledge of standard units of measure including length, volume, mass, and weight
  • Ability to convert standard units of measure
  • Ability to prepare spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Knowledgeable of food and beverage ingredients
  • Experience with working professionally with others to maintain expectation standards when standards are challenged with variation requests
  • Experience working with Red Rock, Stratton Warren, and MS Excel preferred
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally push/pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels
  • Frequently bend, reach, climb, squat, kneel, sit, and stand
  • Frequently in a seated position using a computer and phone
  • Constant use of hearing and vision
