Executive Assistant to President & C

Description:

Summary:

Provide administrative support to the President & Chief Financial Officer of Golden Entertainment, Inc. Assist Executive staff to ensure all assigned administrative functions are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the President & CFO including filing, maintaining schedules, answering and directing phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Assist in the preparation and ensure the timely filing of various internal and external financial and market analysis reports, including reports required by the United States Securities & Exchange Commission
  • Compose correspondence, memorandums, e-mails, reports and miscellaneous documents; review incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail; file correspondence and other departmental records and reports
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism; answers non-routine correspondence and assembles confidential and sensitive information
  • Interact with all operational and support departmental staff as well as Company Officers and Investors, in a courteous, appropriate manner
  • Facilitate the flow of information between the Finance Department, other departments, and various other properties
  • Perform administrative and support duties to the Finance Department, as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing same or similar job duties
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience successfully achieving set deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with Company Officers, Investors, lenders, outside consultants, vendors, and all other internal staff in a confident and professional manner
  • Understanding financial statements preferred
  • Previous experience working in an environment with sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Previous experience working with a publicly traded company preferred
  • Proven experience with excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Moderate computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite applications
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the Company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
