Warehouse Material Specialist

PT’s Tavern Group (Las Vegas, NV)


Summary:   Responsible for warehousing and maintain all non-stock items and stock items at the warehouse.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning experience inventory/procurement with Red Rock Software
  • Picking and staging orders for stock request
  • Inventory cycle counts once a week
  • Maintaining replenishment
  • Identifying the product with the packing slip to check for correct product and no damage
  • New item creation par set-up for each new item ID
  • Identify high, medium and low usage items
  • Maintaining obsolete items through depletion
  • Scheduling and updating route schedules for all new taverns
  • Retrieves orders from vendors, post offices and supply houses in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned




  • Previous experience performing same or similar job duties preferred
  • Receiving and shipping experience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as policy & procedure manuals, maintenance instructions and other related documents
  • Ability to write effective reports and memos
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group and large group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to interpret data from graphs
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States


Work Cards

  • Nevada Driver’s License
  • Clean 10-year driving history
  • Fork lift certified (or able to become certified)


Physical Requirements

  • Hearing, vision (include peripheral), speech and literacy
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist and/or chest levels and over head
  • Continuously walking and/or standing, stooping and use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl


Work Environment Potential Conditions

  •  Ability to work in a smoky, noisy environment with bright lights, some dust, and hot and cold temperatures
