Fine Dining Food Server

Work in one of the most iconic restaurants in Las Vegas! Responsible for having strong menu knowledge, conducting proper presentation of the menu, informing guests of daily specialties and wine list, make recommendations of personal favorites, take orders, deliver orders and processes payments for guests. Delivers exceptional guest service and works with bus persons as needed to care for the guests.

Essential Functions:

  • Presents menus to guests and uses suggestive selling techniques to sell appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, specialty items and desserts
  • Takes food and beverage orders and ensures accurate entry and delivery of the order
  • Meets all service standards, such as performing a satisfaction check within two minutes of the guest receiving food orders and within four minutes of a guest receiving a cocktail order
  • Meets guest service standards at all times
  • Totals guest bills, presents them to guests in a timely manner and obtains full payment along with appropriate paperwork, such as signed credit card slips
  • Ensures tables are well maintained at all times
  • Maintains tables in the assigned station as needed and according to restaurant standards, including setting and resetting tables and polishing silverware
  • Other duties as assigned



  • At least two years previous experience working as a food server in a fine dining restaurant
  • Excellent Written, Verbal and group presentation communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people
  • Knowledge of Cuisine (Menu)
  • Basic knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques
  • At least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, crouch, or run on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
  • Need to distinguish between shades of color
  • Vision, speech, hearing and literacy (critical)
