Digital Strategy Specialist

Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary:  Responsible in curating social media content that is in line with best practices and “voice” for each Golden Entertainment property brand. This position will be assisting in generating consistent engagement on all of our social media channels as well as maintain cohesiveness between all of our digital efforts

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital content calendars for all GEI properties
  • Assist in quarterly and monthly content production planning for both paid digital media and organic
  • Contribute in quarterly content curation and ideation
  • Be present at on site photoshoots and video shoots as well as contribute creatively (photography/live social media content capture)
  • Lead community management for all GEI properties
  • Assist in influencer marketing efforts, this includes: Evaluating, scheduling/coordinating trips
  • Manage relationship and communication with property marketing teams
  • Lead and manage in-house social media tools
  • Assist in reporting on content performance
  • Open digital jobs and traffic in a timely manner
  • Assist with website management
  • Assist in closing the gap between social media/media efforts and our websites
  • Assist Director/Manager on monthly website reporting
  • Provide digital industry updates and trainings
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Multiple years previous experience performing same or similar job duties
  • Background in process redesign and improvements, business requirements gathering, user experience/usability, web solutions development, UI  design, consumer journey mapping, and media and search strategies
  • Social media consumer engagement experience, including monitoring, analytics, and reputation management
  • Strong interpersonal leadership skills and creative thinking with experience leading operational stakeholders to the development of innovative digital campaign strategies
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work as team member
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented data-driven decision maker
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Previous online retail sales experience preferred
  • Bandwidth to lead multiple and varied projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in relevant field preferred
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Working at a desk or table in a seated position for approx. 75% of the time
  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
  • Vision, speech, hearing and literacy (critical)
  • Ability to move throughout the property in a timely manner
  • Able to work in working conditions that may be smoky, noisy, humid, hot or cold temperatures
